1. Safe Use of NFC Tags & QR Codes
NFC tags and QR codes supplied by Thats My ID are designed solely for sharing your digital business card. They should not be used for any purpose that could cause harm, confusion, or security risks.
Users must not:
- Attach NFC tags to hazardous or unsafe locations
- Place QR codes in misleading or harmful environments
- Use NFC/QR products for illegal or deceptive activities
- Embed malicious or harmful content in their profile
2. Security Considerations
NFC tags and QR codes simply link to your Thats My ID profile. They do not store personal data directly on the tag or code.
To protect your information:
- Only share your profile with people you trust
- Do not place your NFC tag in public areas without permission
- Review your profile regularly to ensure accuracy
- Delete any information you no longer wish to share
3. Liability Disclaimer
Thats My ID is not responsible for:
- How or where users place their NFC tags or QR codes
- Damage caused by misuse or unsafe placement
- Third‑party scanning apps or device behaviour
- Profiles containing inaccurate or misleading information
Users are fully responsible for ensuring their NFC/QR usage complies with local laws and safety guidelines.
4. Tampering & Replacement
If your NFC tag or QR code becomes damaged, altered, or tampered with, it may stop working or redirect incorrectly. Replace damaged items immediately.
