By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Thats My ID provides a digital business card platform that allows users to create, manage, and share contact information using QR codes, NFC tags, and online profile links. Users may store details such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, social media links, websites, and other optional profile information.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and lawful.

3. Your Account

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details secure
  • Ensuring your information is accurate and up to date
  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at support@thatsmy.id.

4. User Content

You may upload or enter information (“User Content”) into your digital business card profile. You retain full ownership of your User Content.

By using the Service, you grant Thats My ID a limited, revocable licence to:

  • Store your User Content
  • Display it when your QR code, NFC tag, or profile link is accessed
  • Process it as required to operate the Service

This licence ends immediately when you delete the content or your account. Once removed, your data is permanently deleted from our active systems.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading information
  • Share content you do not have the right to use
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to access accounts or systems without permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or legal risks.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

Key principles include:

  • Your data is stored only while it remains on your profile
  • You may edit or delete your data at any time
  • Deleted data is permanently removed
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect availability.

8. Fees & Payments

Some features may require payment. All fees will be clearly displayed before purchase. Refunds are provided only where required by law.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Service unlawfully
  • Pose a security or operational risk

Upon termination, all your data is permanently deleted from our active systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Thats My ID is not liable for:

  • Loss of data caused by your actions
  • Losses resulting from inaccurate or outdated User Content
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Third‑party actions or failures

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, negligence causing death or injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
